Rasasi

Rasasi is a family-owned perfume house founded in 1979 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates by Abdul Razzak Kalsekar. Built on a vision of bringing high-quality perfumery to the Middle East and beyond, Rasasi has grown into one of the most respected names in Arabian fragrance, known for blending traditional oriental richness with modern perfumery styles.

From the beginning, Rasasi focused on creating perfumes that reflect the depth and warmth of Middle Eastern scent culture. The brand draws heavily on classic ingredients such as oud, amber, musk, rose, incense, spices, and resins—materials that are deeply rooted in regional perfumery traditions and known for their intensity and longevity.

Over time, Rasasi expanded its portfolio to include both traditional Arabic attars and contemporary designer-style fragrances. This dual identity allows the brand to bridge two worlds: the rich, powerful character of oriental perfumery and the fresh, accessible style of modern global fragrances.

One of Rasasi’s most iconic creations is La Yuqawam, a luxurious leather-amber fragrance often compared to high-end niche scents for its depth, warmth, and refined composition. Another globally popular fragrance, Hawas, became widely known for its fresh aquatic-gourmand style, offering a more modern and youthful interpretation of Middle Eastern perfumery.
