Mugler

Mugler (Thierry Mugler) is a groundbreaking luxury house founded in 1973 in Paris by visionary designer Thierry Mugler. Known for his theatrical, futuristic, and sculptural approach to fashion, Mugler reshaped the idea of glamour with bold silhouettes, strong femininity, and a dramatic aesthetic.

The brand entered the fragrance world in 1992 with the launch of Angel, a creation that fundamentally changed modern perfumery. It was one of the first mainstream fragrances to introduce a bold gourmand structure, blending sweet notes like caramel, vanilla, chocolate, and patchouli into a deep, addictive composition. Angel became a cultural phenomenon and redefined what a designer fragrance could be.

Following this success, Mugler expanded into a distinctive fragrance universe built on strong identity, emotional intensity, and high-impact compositions. Scents like Alien introduced a radiant, solar white floral signature centered on jasmine and amber, while other creations explored sensuality, fantasy, and futuristic femininity.

The bottle designs are equally iconic and sculptural. Angel’s star-shaped bottle became one of the most recognizable perfume designs in history, while Alien’s talisman-like flacon reflects mystery and otherworldly elegance.

After Thierry Mugler’s passing in 2022, the brand was rebranded simply as Mugler, continuing his legacy while evolving the fragrance line for a new generation. The core identity, however, remains unchanged: bold creativity, emotional intensity, and fearless innovation.

Today, Mugler is regarded as one of the most influential fragrance houses in modern perfumery, known for creating iconic scents that challenge conventions and leave a lasting impression.
